7.30pm Guildhall 1940s Big Band Concert Jay Craig And His Orchestra

The Jay Craig Orchestra has a starry line-up of players drawn from the finest big bands in this country – and is led by BBC Big Band baritone sax man Jay Craig. A living juke-box of great repertoire from the 1930s onwards, this evening’s programme will feature music from the swing era and particularly the 1940s, in the year that sees the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. There will be a bar from 7.00pm – and dancing for those with the energy!
